ScreenHop Support
On first launch
A four-page guide appears on launch explaining the screen picker and the two shortcuts. Close it with the red button when you're done — it asks whether to show it again next time, and either answer is fine. To see it again later, choose “Welcome Guide…” from the menu-bar icon. ScreenHop has no Dock icon; look for it in the top-right of the menu bar.
How to use it
Click
Press the default shortcut (⌥Z, changeable in Settings) to open the picker, then click a display — the pointer jumps to its centre.
Number
While the picker is open, press 1 to 9 to go straight to that display.
Cycle
Tap the shortcut to move the highlight to the next display and release to commit; hold the modifier and tap again to step through them one by one.
Next display
A second shortcut (⌥X, also changeable) jumps straight to the next display.
Common questions
I only have one display — what's the point?
Then add a second one — a laptop plus an external display is the commonest setup. With a single display the picker says so plainly.
My shortcut does nothing
Most likely another app claimed that combination first. Record a different one from the menu-bar icon's “Welcome Guide…” or from Settings. If the row says “is used by another app”, that is what happened. Also: if both shortcuts are set to the same combination only one of them can work — the row is marked “duplicates another shortcut”.
The pointer lands in the wrong spot
The landing point is always the geometric centre of the target display. If the display is scaled or rotated in System Settings, “centre” follows the rectangle macOS reports.
The picker shows plain tiles instead of wallpapers
When a display's desktop image can't be read, its tile falls back to a flat colour — macOS refusing to hand it over. It doesn't affect jumping. The “Current” badge and the numbers are always there.
How do I change the interface language
The guide's top-right corner and the Settings panel both have a language picker, and it takes effect immediately. Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, 日本語, 한국어, Deutsch, Français and Español are supported.
I want it to start automatically
Switch on “Launch at login” in Settings. It uses the standard system login-item mechanism, and turning the toggle off unregisters it immediately.
